Google Play Now Accepting Paid Apps from Czech Republic, Israel, Poland and Mexico

Another piece of news that falls into Google’s seemingly speedy expansion outside of the US is that Google Play has unveiled four new countries where developers can now submit paid apps to the application marketplace in their own currencies. The countries in question are Czech Republic, Israel, Poland and Mexico. Google claim to have been working to cement the support necessary for the four countries over the course of the past year.

Although some developers had previously been able to submit paid apps in two of the countries, Israel and Mexico, Google states that they could only sell their apps through an AdSense merchant account and could only set prices in US dollars. The online search giant said, “Additionally, we encourage developers everywhere to visit the Developer Console as soon as possible to set prices for their products in the currencies of these newly added countries.” It is good news that Google Play is slowly going more global but the better part is that wherever it goes it localizes the scene to make it easier for people to communicate and transact apps or services.
