Galaxy Note Allegedly Coming to T-Mobile? [Rumor]

According to a few transmissions and office memos between parties involved with the device and T-Mobile a device with a screen resolution of 800×1280 will be coming to T-Mobile. The information which was leaked as pictured above, shows the device marked with the model name SGH-T879. It might be interesting to note that thus far all the T-Mobile products that have been labeled SGH-T8X9 were tablets but there is no other Samsung smartphone that carries the same resolution.

Moreover, it is very doubtful that the company would have created another new device with that resolution specifically for the carrier. Another bit of information contained in the Bluetooth document showed that this device was linked as a variant for the SGH-i717 which is AT&T’s label for the Galaxy Note. Weirdly, the comment which might lead to people guessing exactly what this device could be has been removed.

If you have been thinking to yourself that the alleged product could be a tablet, namely the Samsung Galaxy TAB 10.1, the reason why that seems implausible is because the orientation for a tablet would be opposite from that of a smartphone which means that if the device in question was the 10.1 inch tablet, it would have a resolution of 1280×800 and not the other way around as it is listed here.

Since there is no official word yet about this impending device, we should take the rumor with the sufficient amount of salt but rest assured, we can be sure that a new device will be making its way to T-Mobile. With regards as to what that device might be however, we will keep you posted on any updates about it.
