Evernote has no intentions to leave its Windows Phone users lagging behind the established iOS and Android versions of its application. The company has demonstrated this by releasing an update that delivers on requests that many of the users have asked for. The update which will bring the application up to version 2.2 features 3 new additions.

The first addition is the Notebook sharing with the added feature for Premium users that will enable them to allow others to edit their notebooks. The second one is contextual search and note creating which sees where you are within the app and will keep your search parameters within the current context that you are in whether a note or a tag.

The feature will also remain for new notes that are created. Finally, the feature that adds more intuitive note editing which allows the editor to display all the text and lets you edit it directly. Images or audio will exist as attachments in the gallery above the note area. Besides the 3 features which were in demand by users, Evernote has performed some tweaks to speed up the app and to make it more reliable. They assure users that you will never have to see the “we need to check your notes” message again.
