There have been stories floating around the internet regarding more and more uses of the new iPad. It is being used at educational institutes, medical hospitals and even in business meetings. Now, the Denver Broncos NFL team has decided to use it for something else. Reports indicate that the team recently traded off its 500-page playbook for Verizon’s 64GB new iPad and the team is said to be in the midst of preparing an individual one for every player as well as every staff member of the coaching team.

Denver Broncos General Manager Brian Xanders said, “The advantage is that when they leave the building, they can take everything home with them very easily and watch the tape at night and review the game plan installation. This is their full-time job – to prepare and do whatever they can do help us win each week.”

Apparently the reason as to why the people involved are yet to receive their new toy is because all the iPads will be preloaded with an app called PlayerLync which will allow coaches to push out new plays to the team over-the-air (OTA) thus decreasing the team’s dependence on paper. On top of that, the management team will be providing videos along with other undisclosed content to ramp up players on their 64GB new iPad.
