Booking.com Claim to be the Best Global Last-Minute Hotel App for iPhones

Booking.com is launching what it claims to be the world’s first global ‘last-minute’ hotel app for the Apple iPhone. Since Hotel Tonight and Hotel Negotiator concentrate on the States, Booking.com covers other markets including London, Hong Kong and Dubai. One tap when you’re in the application retrieves all available hotels in the immediate area that you are in.

This apparently includes those special last-minute deals. Hotels are booked through a streamlined two-step booking process, with Booking.com immediately contacting the hotel and automatically saving the booking confirmation to your iPhone. Moreover, the application will also provide you with maps for getting from your current location to the Hotel you have booked into.

For a further impressive characteristic to bolster your confidence if you are in the market for a global hotel finder, Booking.com’s database has more than 200,000 hotels and other modes of accommodation across 165 countries. On the mobile platform alone, Booking.com’s customers allegedly completed more than $1 billion in transactions throughout 2011.
