With yet another update for its newly launched Instagram for Android application, the creators have announced that in the four days since it hit the Google Play Store, the application has been downloaded up to 5 million times. In yesterday’s update which is the latest one so far, the app’s developers have allowed tablet users to also be able to enjoy the photography filter based application.

The update brings up Instagram to version 1.0.3. Besides that, Instagram also fixed several small bugs including an audio mute bug. The update will also allow users to install the application to an SD card instead of the internal memory. For tablet users, you don’t have to worry that Instagram has merely stretched the app out for usage on tablets. They have actually doubled the resolution for clearer and sharper use on Android tablets.
