Apple’s iPhone and Samsung Galaxy SII have finally come together and came out on top in a list of Israel’s most smuggled goods. Along with the smartphones is an unlikely but unsurprising appearance of Viagra which accompanies both the devices in prominent spots at the top of the list. The information comes from custom authorities at Ben-Gurion International Airport which has said the amount of undeclared goods that were confiscated in the year 2011 was 10,082 totalling to about $21.42million.

Of the many phones that were confiscated, most were not on travellers but a few of the customs agents can recall a woman in her 60s who was caught hiding 44 iPhones in her stockings while another 22 year-old employee at a cell phone company was caught with 8 of the apple devices taped to his body. For the record, 12.2 million people passed through customs on 90,000 flights in the year 2011 with only 200,000 of them having their baggage scanned by customs. In 22% of all scanned baggage, customs have found something of interest.
