Samsung Galaxy S3 to run two different operating systems

Here’s a little something else to sink our teeth in. The much awaited Samsung Galaxy S3 might feature a unique dual-OS system which will allow users to flip between two different versions of Android operating systems. The leaked details which supposedly came from an unnamed Samsung employee came along with the photo above.

The information was posted on the popular social news site, Reddit. The post states that the Samsung employee duly says that the S3 will possibly have two optional launchers with the first being Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with a TouchWiz overlay and the other being Vanilla ICS. He also adds that Samsung are not 100% sure if they will stick with TouchWiz or have the dual launcher option which you can choose anytime.

Given the large amount of launchers developed by app-makers on the Google Play Store, it seems that Samsung are trying to get an extra degree of customizability to their stock launcher which can only add to the best part of using an Android device, versatility. While that may be, we must treat this piece of news as what is, simply a rumour. What do you think if this development were to come through?
