If you are a user of the NFC service, Google Wallet, you might have experienced some problems lately regarding the Google pre-paid cards. The main problem users faced was that they were unable to add the pre-paid card back to their wallet if they had previously removed it however, Google who had officially removed the option to add it back sent out an e-mail to inform their customers that the service was back up and running as normal.

To further show that they cared for their patrons, and also to make up for the inconvenience caused, they handed out $5 to all the Google Wallet users. You will now find that your pre-paid credit has been given an additional $5 and this opens realms of extravagant spending at the local convenience store.

Galaxy Nexus Google Wallet users will know that this is not the first time Google has given out money because in December last year, Google offered a $10 welcome credit for those who installed the app on their Galaxy Nexus for the first time. It is hard to blame them for their mistakes after they have handed you $15 in free money isn’t it. Do let us know if you have received the $5 extra credit and if you want, you can even tell us what you bought with it in the comments below.
