Here’s a bit of statistics that Apple might enjoy. A staggering 51% of all households in the United States own an Apple product. According to CNBC’s polling information, roughly 55 million homes based in America own an iOS device, iPod or a Mac. Like all smart electronic products in the modern world, they have a physical and software based lifespan. This works well with Apple’s gadget launching strategy which happens annually. This gives Americans the opportunity to replace or upgrade their device before it gets older. Given that bit of information along with the data provided by the chart above, Apple will have no problem at all in keeping up its massive sales figures.

CNBC went one to point out a few facts regarding the data that are far from surprising. According to them, Apple customers tend to be younger and educated. In a separate but relevant survey, they also found out that the higher your income is, the more likely it is that you will own an Apple product. The reason why this data is being highlighted is not to give you the bragging rights you probably want if you love Apple with all of your heart but to point out that Apple Is no longer “one” of the producers and has become mainstream. If you look at the data, the company has been producing devices for the majority and not the minority of the American population.
