Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 spotted at the FCC

With Samsung not holding a media event for MWC 2012, we have to wonder what the company will be unveiling. Well thanks to a filing at the FCC, it looks like we can expect to see the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2, but as far as its entry to the US is concerned, the FCC filing has shown us that the device will be sporting 850 and 1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE radios, which means that it should be compatible with AT&T’s 3G network and T-Mobile’s edge network only.

As far as its specs are concerned, the Galaxy Mini 2 is expected to feature an 800MHz processor, a 3.3” HVGA display, 3GB of internal storage, a 3MP rear-facing camera and will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board. With specs like these, we don’t expect the Galaxy Mini 2 to break the bank upon release, so if you’re in the market for such a device, the Galaxy Mini 2 could be it. We expect more details to surface when the device sees its official launch at MWC 2012, so check back with us then.
