Recent rumors have revealed that the next-generation Kindle Fire will be arriving in May and will come in a larger 9” version. Keeping to the original Kindle Fire pricing model, the Kindle Fire 2 is expected to be priced competitively, but instead of taking a loss on each Kindle Fire 2 sold like they did with the original Kindle Fire, Amazon is reportedly turning to lower-priced internals in order to keep the production costs down. The specs of the rumored Kindle Fire successor still remains unknown at this point in time, but assuming the May release date is to be believed, we guess we can expect more details to start surfacing from now until then, so check back with us for more information.
