ZTE V66 tablet spotted at the FCC, headed to Verizon

If for whatever reason you felt that the ASUS Transformer Prime was not your cup of tea, pricing perhaps, ZTE may have a more affordable option for you in the form of the V66 Android tablet. This is of course working on the assumption that ZTE will be keeping to their strategy of offering consumers with reasonable products at affordable prices, although anything could change last minute.

The device has made its way onto the FCC with Verizon’s 4G stamp on its back and some are speculating that it could be the same model as Sprint’s V55, or possibly the ZTE T98 which was originally unveiled at a tech expo in China. If so, what we are looking at here is a tablet with a 7” 1280×800 display, a NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor on board with Android’s Honeycomb 3.2 on board and last but not least, compatibility with Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

No word on when we could expect the ZTE V66 to see a launch, but hopefully that will be changing soon.
