The Motorola Droid Bionic may have been big news prior to its launch, but now that the Droid RAZR has emerged and with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus looming on the horizon for those living in the US, it’s a bit unfortunate and expected that the Droid Bionic has taken the back seat for now.

Now if you own the Motorola Droid Bionic and you were worried about the device getting the ICS 4.0 update, the good news is that thanks to the hardworking Android developers’ community, a somewhat working alpha ICS ROM is now available courtesy of developer dhacker29 of the TH3ORY ROM team. There are a couple of features that are working and some that are still being worked on.

If you feel like you can’t wait for the final build to be released or wait for the official update, just head on down to RootzWiki where you can find download link and instructions on installing the ROM. Proceed at your own risk!
