We had reported earlier that Amazon recently released an update for their Kindle Fire tablet which basically brought about several improvements and enhancements. Well not forsaking their other Kindle products, such as the Kindle app for iOS, Amazon has released an update for that as well.

This appears to be quite the major update for the app which is available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The update brings about access to more than 400 magazines and newspapers, along with the ability to read print replica textbooks on the iPad, which basically offers readers the original layout of the print editions but still allows for notes and highlighting.

A built-in PDF reader will also allow iOS users to open up PDF files within the Kindle app itself that will allow users to email documents to their Kindle address and open and sync it on their iOS devices. For the update or download, hop on over to the iTunes App Store.
