RIM has been having a tough year, what with them losing smartphone platform market share to both iOS and Android, and with Blackberry 10 devices only expected in the later half of 2012, well, things just aren’t looking too good for them! Well according to reports, it seems that RIM may have contemplated selling their company, and among the list of potential buyers include Amazon, Microsoft and even Nokia!

Naturally we can’t confirm the validity of the report and the claims, but it’s interesting to see the list of companies actually interested in purchasing RIM, Amazon in particular considering what their core business is. However as far as Microsoft and Nokia are concerned, we guess we can’t say we’re surprised, but once again these are just rumors so you should probably take them with a grain of salt. Who do you think will benefit the most if they do end up buying RIM?
