The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 was unveiled at IFA a few months back, but we have yet to see this device arrive stateside. It was initially spotted at the FCC a while back with WiFi capabilities, but a new FCC filing has revealed that the tablet has paid the FCC another visit this time sporting HSPA+ connectivity, which means that it could arrive on pretty much any of the four major carriers in the US.

For those who may have forgotten, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 along with the Galaxy Note were new offerings by Samsung that were unveiled during IFA. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 was meant to be the successor to the original Galaxy Tab, sporting a 7.7” 1280×800 Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 3MP/2MP rear/front-facing cameras, LTE and HSPA+ connectivity, 1080p Full HD video playback support and would run on Android’s Honeycomb 3.2.

Does this FCC filing indicate that we might be seeing the Galaxy Tab 7.7 launch in the US some time in the near future? While the filing does not necessarily guarantee a launch, at least we know that the possibility is there.
