Motorola DROID 4 official specs released

So apparently the Motorola DROID 4 is expected to be released on the 8th of December, which coincidentally is the same time Verizon will also be releasing the much anticipated Galaxy Nexus. While photos of the DROID 4 have only been surfacing with speculated hardware specs, it seems that thanks to a leaked Verizon document we can now confirm the specs of the upcoming Motorola DROID 4.

The DROID 4 will sport a 4” qHD 960×540 display with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM under the hood. It will also feature a slideout QWERTY keyboard that resembles the Droid RAZR when closed. It will be compatible with Verizon’s 4G LTE network, sport a rear and front facing camera and we can only assume it will come loaded up with Android’s Gingerbread 2.3.

The 8th of December release is only a rumor with no official announcement just yet, but if the leaked documents and rumors of training for the device having already begun, the 8th of December release of the DROID 4 (and possibly the Galaxy Nexus) may not be so far fetched after all.
