Galaxy Nexus to receive Flash Player update in December

For those unaware, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will not be shipped with Adobe’s Flash Player on board. This is because the device will come with Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 on board, and because of that, Samsung and Google are currently awaiting Adobe Flash Player for mobile to be updated to support ICS 4.0 before releasing it for their users.

Android users who can’t live without Flash will be pleased to know that the updated Flash Player for their Galaxy Nexus will be arriving some time in December, although no specific date was mentioned. If you have not been following the news, you should probably take note that ICS 4.0 is the last build of Android that Adobe will be providing mobile Flash support for as it announced that it will no longer be supporting Flash for mobile devices in the future.
