Apple wins injunction against Samsung in Australia

Bad news Australians, it looks like the verdict is in regarding the Apple vs Samsung patent infringement lawsuit in Australia, and seems that the court has decided to favor Apple and has agreed to Apple’s injunction against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet. For those unfamiliar with the case, Apple has been claiming that Samsung infringed upon their design patents by creating the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, which they are saying looks similar to the iPad 2.

With Apple already scoring two victories in Australia and the Netherlands, it will be interesting to see if Samsung will be scoring any victories with their own patent lawsuit. Perhaps then both companies may start to deal with each other in a more amicable manner, but for now, those living in Australia who may want to get their hands on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 are out of luck.
