Aesir’s AE+Y is a phone you’ll never have to change again?

The thing about technology is that no matter how often you upgrade, there will always be something better several weeks/months down the line. Unfortunately not all of us are able to constantly upgrade our phones every few months, which is why Danish design firm Aesir have come up with a phone that they claim you will never have to change again.

The handset is called the AE+Y and part of the reason why you will never need to upgrade it is due to its simplistic nature. It does everything you want from a phone, as in send text messages and make calls, and that’s about it. It’s also made out of durable materials such as a ceramic body and metal screws. At this point it just seems more like a novelty than a game changer, and given its price tag of €6,000, this is not a phone for everyone.
