Waterproof Fujitsu Arrows Tab F-01D spotted at the FCC

A while back a poster for an upcoming Fujitsu tablet was spotted in Japan. It was called the Fujitsu Arrows Tab F-01D and it was advertised as being a somewhat rugged device as it was waterproof. At that time it appeared that the tablet would only be available in Japan, but the good news for those outside of Japan is that the device has recently made a spot at the FCC.

The bad news is that it appears to be the WiFi only model with GSM and W-CDMA bands being disabled. No word on if a GSM or W-CDMA version will eventually be made available, but if you’re on the lookout for a waterproof tablet, it looks like it may be making its way to the US.

The Fujitsu Arrows Tab F-01D will be sporting a 10.1” display at 1280×800 resolution, a 1GHz TI OMAP 4430 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and will be running on Android’s Honeycomb 3.1 and will feature a 1.3MP front facing camera and a 5MP rear facing camera. Not too shabby, right?
