Sprint sues AT&T/T-Mobile to block merger

It’s no secret that Sprint is not a fan of the AT&T and T-Mobile merger, and they have voiced out their opinions strongly in the past, mentioning how if the merger goes through Sprint will not be able to compete. The DoJ apparently feels the same way too as they have sued in order to prevent the merger from going through.

Perhaps getting a boost of confidence from the DoJ, Sprint has decided to join the lawsuit and is now suing to put a stop to the merger. Nothing new here as they have pretty much listed the same reasons as they have in the past – the only difference is that now they’re actually taking the matter to court and will play a direct role in the outcome of the merger.

It will be interesting to see how this one rides out, and we’re guessing that Sprint has laid out a lot on the line so it would be their benefit to see the merger fall through. Anyone here thinks that perhaps this merger should go through?
