Motorola Droid RAZR spotted

Motorola might be taking their chances with an upcoming smartphone of theirs known as the Droid RAZR – after all, remember just how successful the RAZR line was until everything else that Motorola churned out after that failed to capture the attention or imagination of the world? RAZR-fatigue, as we call it, and with Motorola finally making good again in the world of smartphones with the Droid brand, here they are with a merged name – the Droid RAZR.

Also known as the Spyder or Droid HD, this could very well be the thinnest LTE phone in the market when released. Some of the rumored specifications comprise of a 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED display at 960 x 540 resolution, an unknown dual-core 1.2GHz processor, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording and image stabilization, a front-facing camera (purportedly HD!), 1GB RAM, 4G LTE support, tough Gorilla Glass and a Kevlar casing with a splash-guard coating.

This seems to be the big brother of the Droid Bionic that rolled out quite recently, and it does seem to nudge towards a holiday release over at Verizon Wireless. Hold your breath and expect more information/reveals to come in due time.
