Motorola XT531 spotted at the FCC

Budget smartphones are a great way for those looking to dive in to the smartphone world, and by all accounts we’re expecting the Motorola XT531 to be such a device. It has been announced for China, Europe and Latin America, but fret not as it has recently been spotted in an FCC filing, which means there’s a good chance we might be seeing the device hit the states soon.

According to the FCC filing, it will be sporting radio bands tuned to AT&T’s frequencies and will feature a 3.5” display along with dual cameras, front and back. No word on what it will be known as when it hits the US, and no word on which version of Android it will be sporting and how much it will cost, although it’s a safe bet to assume it will be either an entry-mid level ranged device running on Android’s Gingerbread 2.3.
