Grid 10 by Fusion Garage available for pre-order on Amazon

Just the other day we reported that the mysterious TabCo was actually Fusion Garage, and the mysterious tablet they were touting is actually the successor to Fusion Garage’s Joo Joo tablet, the Grid 10. For those who forgot, Grid 10 will be running on Grid OS, which is Fusion Garage’s take on the Android kernel, which they promise will be different from the other tablets in the market.

The Grid 10 will sport a 10.1” 1366×768 multitouch capacitive display with a 1.2GHz NVidia Tegra-2 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 1.3MP front-facing camera (no word if there is a rear facing camera) along with 16GB worth of storage.

Given that the Joo Joo tablet did not do as well as Fusion Garage had hoped, we wonder if the Grid 10 will be any different. Either way if you consider yourself an early adopter, the Grid 10 is available for pre-order from Amazon for $499.
