Sometime in the middle of last year, Gizmodo’s Jason Chen managed to get his hands on a prototype iPhone 4. It was lost at a bar, picked up by someone else who then sold it to Jason Chen. Naturally this did not sit well with Apple who then sent in the authorities who raided Chen’s house and seized his computers.

Well the entire saga is reaching its end and it appears that Jason Chen is off the hook for purchasing the iPhone 4 device. As journalists/bloggers, we’re glad this ended this ended the way it did. Let’s just hope that Apple’s engineers are more careful with the iPhone 5!
