Amazon Germany no longer accepting apps in their Appstore

As we all know Apple has been embroiled in several lawsuits lately and some are speculating that since the iPhone 4 is starting to lose its edge and with no iPhone 5 in sight (apart from the rumors), this is Apple’s way of attempting to control the market and keeping the playing fields even, despite them looking like the bad guys and patent trolls.

For starters we already know about the Apple vs Samsung lawsuit where Apple managed to score a victory when Samsung agreed to cease the sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 until the lawsuit was over.

As it turns out it looks like Apple may have scored yet another victory in Germany against Amazon and their use of the term “Appstore” which they’re claiming is similar to their “App Store”. According to reports, Amazon Germany has been sending out emails to developers saying that they will no longer be accepting app submissions for the time being, although it was not specified when the services would resume again.
