Windows Phone 7 Mango will be version 7.5

If you were wondering what the version of WP7’s Mango update will be, it seems that according to the tweet, it will be version 7.5. Some have speculated that maybe Microsoft will be going with Windows Phone 7.1 to play it safe, although the latest developer build did refer to it as 7.5. The good news is that also in thanks to that tweet, the Mango update might be seeing a release in September.

The tweet is claiming that all finalists will be getting a WP7 Mango device in September, which has led some to believe that September could be the date that we may very well be seeing the final release of Mango. However in the past Microsoft has given out WP7 devices 3 months before the platform actually hit the streets, but in any case, at least we have somewhat of a clearer date now, so time to mark your calenders!
