Windows Phone 7 Mango released to manufacturers and carriers for testing

If you are a Windows Phone 7 fan who has been waiting for the release of the new WP7 handsets along with the Mango update, it appears that the wait could very well be reaching an end. Apparently the Mango update has been declared code complete and has already been released to manufacturers. The update has also been sent to the carriers for testing, which means that it shouldn’t be too long before eager WP7 fans will be able to get their hands on the new devices sporting the latest update.

Some have speculated that perhaps Mango may not be seen this year, despite its 2011 scheduled release, although what with iOS 5 and Ice Cream Sandwich on their way, failing to release Mango this year could very well cement Windows Phone 7’s fate, which isn’t looking too great as it is.
