GSM version of the DROID 3 spotted at the FCC?

Users who prefer GSM networks over CDMA may be in luck, as the Motorola DROID 3 was spotted at the FCC sporting GSM bands. Granted the filing did not actually say it was the DROID 3, but specs wise it looks exactly like what the DROID 3 will be packing, plus the battery used for the device is currently only available in the DROID 3, so we’re making an educated guess and say that it is the DROID 3.

It will also be sporting the same GSM and WCDMA bands as AT&T’s network, so there’s a chance that the GSM version of the DROID 3 will be hitting up AT&T’s network. No word on when the device will be hitting AT&T, but users on Verizon should be expecting the device arrive July 14th.
