WP7 Remote App Lets You Control Your PC

iOS users may or may not be familiar with the Remote app that allows iOS device users to control their iTunes remotely, or perhaps iOS users may or may not have heard of Mobile Mouse which allows for remote control of the mouse by using the iPhone’s touch screen to navigate or use the on screen keyboard to type or perform certain actions. I guess every platform has their own remote app and it looks like an XDA member DeathLamp is creating an app for Windows Phone 7 that will allow remote control and access of your PC.

It comes with a server side application that lets you scroll through your files, launch them, close them, minimize them or maximize. There will also be user defined key combinations and various commands. DeathLamp also plans to add a feature later on that would allow the transfer of files from the PC to the phone to be done remotely.

If all that sounds good, the bad news is that the app is still currently in development but for those who are interested you can check out the application thread for more details regarding updates and progress. The good news is that the app will be free, but no word on when it will be available.
