Will We Be Seeing Amazon’s 10-Inch Tablet This Holiday Season?

As we know there have been several rumors floating about that Amazon will be entering the tablet market and no the tablets won’t be new variations of the Kindle but full fledged tablets that will most likely be running on the Google Android operating system. There have been several sizes of tablets that have been rumored, but for now it looks like research firm Detwiler Fenton has uncovered some information that would lead us to believe that we may be seeing the Amazon 10-inch tablet, code-named “Hollywood”, ready for the holiday season.

There have also been talks about a movie streaming service which would be provided for free during the launch although the service is not expected to remain free, perhaps just an added incentive for those who will be one of Amazon’s early adopters. No word on pricing or specs just yet, all we know is that it may be ready for the holiday season and that’s pretty much it. Since summer is upon us we’re guessing it’s only a matter of time before these rumors are proven true or false.
