Motorola Blames Android Phone Returns On Poor Apps

Published

on

Chief Executive of Motorola, Sanjay Jha, are blaming the poor quality of Android apps out there in the market today as the reason why people are returning Android devices that have been purchased. He says that people confuse the quality of the phone itself with the quality of the apps. The confusion can be obvious because after all with smartphones these days all the emphasis are on the apps itself.

“Of those returns that were tracked, 70 percent had been turned in because they used too much battery power or bogged the phone down.”

In response to that Motorola is working on an update to their Motoblur that will warn users when an app is consuming too much battery. So do you think there’s a correlation between poor Android apps and the return of the devices themselves?
