Perhaps in an attempt to boost sales of their Windows Phone 7 devices in anticipation of the Mango update coming out in fall, Microsoft has decided to have a sale for Windows Phone 7 devices, namely the HTC HD7, HTC Trophy and the HTC Arrive, however customers will be required to sign a 2-year contract with the applicable carrier.

Comparing the prices against the sale, the HTC Trophy is available Verizon Wireless for $149.00, while the HTC Arrive can be purchased from Sprint for as low as $199.99 and both require you to be tied to a standard 2-year contract. At the same time it looks like T-Mobile is having a similar deal with the HD7 which is available for free upon signing a 2-year contract.

The offer Microsoft is offering will run until the 2nd of July or until their stocks run out. Sounds like a good deal for those who have been thinking about making the jump into WP7 devices, now’s as good a time as any.
