HTC HD7S Windows Phone 7 Makes Its Way To AT&T

Now is as good a time as any to get your hands on a Windows Phone 7 device, what with Mango being announced for the fall and all the buzz that it has created. Some even believe that it is thanks to the Mango update that Windows Phone 7 will finally start playing catch up to the other major players, namely the iOS and Android platforms.

The HTC HD7S is now available from AT&T and will come with a price tag of just under $200 for a 2-year contract. If you’ve seen T-Mobile’s HD7, the HD7S is basically the same device but with a couple of changes, namely a 4.3-inch Super LCD screen and a couple of minor style adjustments. The device also includes a 1GHz processor on top of the Windows Phone 7 operating system, a 5MP camera and the device also comes along with Wi-Fi and GPS support.

It’s not too bad for a device just under $200 and if anything it will make a rather affordable leap into the WP7 platform. Of course one could also wait for Mango ready devices to launch if they’re afraid of fragmentation and having to wait months before they get the Mango update for their device. For more information head on down to AT&T’s website.
