If you’ve been looking forward to get a new phone from Verizon, you’ve probably got your eye set on the Motorola Droid X2, LG Revolution, HTC Trophy or Sony Ericsson Xperia Play. Unfortunately, Verizon hasn’t officially announced these phones yet, so we’ve got no idea when they will be arriving. Fortunately, the folks over at Droid-life claim that they have news about when the phones will be arriving.

According to their sources at Verizon, three of the phones will go on sale May 12 – the Motorola Droid X2, LG Revolution and HTC Trophy are apparently set to be released on the same day. I predict a huge line of people to assemble at Verizon retail outlets next week. Especially for the LG Revolution – Verizon’s next 4G LTE Android phone that comes with Netflix, and the HTC Trophy – Verizon’s first Windows Phone 7 device.

Two weeks after the phones launch, we’ll be seeing the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play on May 26 – the first Android gaming phone with a dedicated gamepad. It looks like May is going to be one exciting month for Verizon. Keep your eyes peeled for official announcements.
