Nokia Wants To Pump Out Many WP7 Devices

Well we all know that Nokia is starting to focus their attention on their Windows Phone 7 devices. What we did not know was exactly how serious they were regarding that. As we all know Nokia is one of Microsoft’s partners for Windows Phone 7 and thanks to Nokia’s Vice President of Smart Devices, Jo Harlow, we now know that Nokia will be merciless in their unleashing of Windows Phone 7 devices upon the market.

She was quoted as saying “We should be launching new devices in a rhythm that might be every couple of months, every three months, something like that.” Not surprising considering that WP7 will be Nokia’s primary platform now, in favor of their Symbian and MeeGo platforms. Perhaps this will allow Nokia to rebound back on its feet, assuming of course that not only will their WP7 devices be amazing, but that the WP7 Mango update will prove to be a game changer.

The Finnish company will also be making use of Microsoft’s relationship with US carriers in an attempt to break through in the American smartphone market. Guess we will have to wait and see how that turns out.
