Eldar Murtazin, the man who seemingly knows everything about a phone before it gets released has recently revealed the names to the first two Nokia Windows Phone 7 devices. Recently announcing on his blog and on Twitter, the first two Nokia WP7 phones will be the W7 and W8. Apparently there are 4 models in development right now. The W7 will be a test phone that is rumored to be the first device on the market and will be the standard Nokia WP7 phone used to test the market and it might be arriving in this fall.

The W8 will be an N8-like phone that runs WP7 instead of Symbian. It will feature the same build, including the 12 megapixel camera found on the original phone. The internals of the N8 might be improved, but there’s no confirmation on that. But if it does hit the market, rumored to be early next year, it is expected to be the most powerful WP7 smartphone.

Another model in the works is a QWERTY-keyboard slider, with a metal shell and a touchscreen. Lastly we’ll be seeing a cheaper variant of the W7 featuring the same internals, but made from lower quality materials to make it a budget/entry-level phone. No word on how Eldar Murtazin knows what he knows but he usually is right on the dot when it comes to these things. Head over to his blog for more details.
