Droid X2 pops up in the wild again

While we have yet to hear any official announcement from Motorola or Verizon about the Droid X2, the phone seems to be popping up all over the place. The folks at Techno Buffalo recently got their hands on a Droid X2, and therefore confirming its existence. Judging by appearances, the Droid X2 doesn’t look very different from the Droid X – if you don’t know where to look. Flip it on its side and you’ll see that the Droid X2 doesn’t have a camera button, and there is a slight difference in color for the phone. The internals have changed though – the Droid X2 has a 4.3″ (960 x 540) qHD screen, a 1.2GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, Android 2.2 (might be upgraded to 2.3 at launch), 768MB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, Micro USB port, HDMI output, and a battery that is said to last much longer than the one in the Droid X. No prices have been announced but it has a rumored release date of mid May. Any takers? Video of the Droid X2 getting benchmarked after the break:
