It looks like the Xperia neo might be making its way to retail shelves very soon. The upcoming Android phone from Sony Ericsson that was introduced at the Mobile World Congress in February, was recently taken apart at the FCC and had its internals photographed. And while there’s nothing too special about how the device looks like on the inside, it does mean that the phone is a step closer to being available. This Android 2.3 phone packs a 3.7″ (854 x 480) screen, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, a rear 8 megapixel camera, a front 2 megapixel camera, HDMI output, Bluetooth and WiFi. The device has been recently spotted up for pre-order, but other than that no release date has been confirmed.
