AT&T confirms HSUPA is disabled on their 4G devices

AT&T has recently confirmed that their 4G devices don’t upload at full speeds due to the fact that they haven’t enabled HSUPA (the feature that allows users to upload at 4G speeds) for those devices yet. This means that reports of the Inspire 4G and Atrix 4G having slow upload speeds aren’t just hearsay. AT&T mentioned in a statement that HSUPA technology is still undergoing testing, and when they finally enable it on their phones, they want customers to continue having a “world class experience”. But how can you continue having world class experience when they haven’t been getting the full 4G experience all along? Hopefully this testing won’t take too long, and we’ll see HSUPA enabled soon.
