Remember that it was announced that the CLIQ XT would not be receiving the Android 2.1 update due to Motorola having trouble getting the update to work on the phone? All hope for the phone ever getting an official upgrade has been dashed, but no all hope is lost for the loyal T-Mobile customers who felt like they’ve been let down by the announcement. T-Mobile apparently has something in store for you guys. They haven’t made it clear to what this special offer is, but it’s supposed to take away the pain of having a phone that’s stuck on 1.5. Any guesses to what it is? Perhaps and early upgrade or a discount for your next phone purchase, anyway stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted once we find out.
