Motorola XOOM headed to AT&T

In a report that AT&T recently published about their plans for this year, AT&T revealed that they will have 12 Android devices by the end of the year. And the folks over at Phandroid managed to dig through the report and discovered that the Motorola XOOM will be one of the Android devices that will be released on their network. The highly anticipated tablet that will debut on Verizon should make it over to AT&T when they finally implement their 4G LTE networks later this year. A worthy trade for the iPhone 4 exclusivity? I guess we’ll have to wait for hands on with the tablet to find out. In the report it is also mentioned that they might be providing a shared data option somewhere down the road. Definitely something that users can look forward to, after all as proven with the Galaxy Tab – nobody wants a separate data plan just to use a tablet in addition to their smartphone. Stay tuned for more details in the future.
