Microsoft addresses Windows Phone 7 update issues

The Windows Phone 7 update that began rolling out a few days ago updated phones without a hitch for most users, but for the less unfortunate ones – some of them ended up with a bricked device. Microsoft has been made aware of this problem and it seems isolated to only a number of Samsung handsets. It is uncertain what caused such problems, but Microsoft is already on it and hope to come up with a fix soon. In the meantime they have advised Samsung users not to update their WP7 phones. Hopefully this problem gets rectified soon and doesn’t become a repeating occurrence for future WP7 updates.
