HTC Merge visits the FCC, finally headed to Verizon?

Published

on

We’ve been seeing pictures of the HTC Merge for a long time and now the device has paid a visit to the FCC, receiving approval for the 850 and 1900 CDMA2000/EVDO bands, though there weren’t any mentions of GSM support. The phone supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, though that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Despite the phone’s visit to the FCC, there doesn’t seem to be any hint of the device arriving on Verizon anytime soon, though we’re still keeping our fingers crossed, since we’d love to have the option of another QWERTY-slider Android phone.
