FCC sees HTC ThunderBolt hurled at it

Published

on

It does seem as though HTC has received the go-ahead from the FCC for their highly anticipated 4G smartphone, the ThunderBolt, to hit the market with plenty of peal and claps. Apparently, this device is known as the PG05100, where it will play nice on Verizon’s 700MHz LTE as well as its CDMA/EVDO bands (how convenient) and has been specially set up for SVDO and SVLTE (or simultaneous CDMA voice and LTE data). All of these are definitely not out of sync with what Verizon has in store for the handset, and HTC decides to take the hush hush route by asking for the standard confidentiality request on this puppy so that no photos are revealed at least until the end of March.
