The Facebook app has pretty much taken over the smartphone world, but it looks like it isn’t enough for Facebook. Snaptu has just announced the launch of a new Facebook app that’s been specially designed to bring the smartphone experience to feature phones. It is a J2ME app which means that it should run on most Java-compatible feature phones that make up the bulk of phones all over the world. In a special introductory promotion (to probably get you hooked to the app), 14 carriers around the world will be letting subscribers use the app without any data charges for the first 90 days. To see the list of carriers offering this promotion, head here. If you’re interested in downloading the Snaptu Facebook app, it is available now, just use your phone and hit: m.fb.snaptu.com.
