Motorola might have a sequel to the Droid X cooking up in their lab somewhere. Hot Hardware claims that they have the specs to the Motorola Droid X 2, given to them from their trusted sources. The device is codenamed Daytona and will look like the current Droid X. It will pack a 4.3″ screen but will have a higher resolution (540 x 960) and will be powered by a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The phone is said to be running on Android 2.2, and will pack an 8 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, and a microSD slot. The phone will also be on Verizon, though it hasn’t been confirmed if it will support LTE or not. Motorola has been doing so well with their Droid phones, it’s no surprise if this device turns out to be true, but either way, we can’t complain about having another dual-core phone on the block. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted on any updates.
