Motorola Droid update announced

Published

on

Motorola has just informed their customers that they will be releasing an Android update for the original Motorola Droid. There weren’t any details about the update, but we’re pretty sure it’s not Gingerbread, and it will probably be the Android 2.2.2 update that the Nexus S phone received last week. Users part of the Feedback Network should be getting the updates sometime over the next few days and if all goes fine and dandy, it will be released to the rest of the Motorola Droid customers. It’s nice to see Motorola keeping their original Droid device alive and healthy with these frequent updates. Let’s hope Gingerbread arrives soon!
